Pharaoh Seti I – The Prince of Egypt Fan Art

What would The Prince of Egypt movie look like in 3D nowadays? This project started with that question after watching the movie for the umpteenth time with my partner. The upcoming days, I started gathering references from the movie itself, and from other 3D movies, for the purpose of studying them and figuring out the best to way to translate those appealing 2D stylized designs into 3D.

One of the things I decided to do in this character was to follow a movie pipeline, for that, I used higher resolution models and used UDIMs, among other things. At the same time, I wanted to achieve a cinematic render look, reason why I deeply studied some of my favorite shots from the original DreamWorks movie. Composition, lighting moods and image colors were some of the things I studied and beared in mind when building the final renders.

I’m glad that I can finally share this piece. It’s cool to see how far this project has come. Thank you for reading and viewing!
