Character I’ve been working on my spare time lately. I remember I was amazed when I first saw Dom Murphy’s concept. The character’ shapes caught my eye from minute one that I had to translate those shapes to 3D. Plus, it was a great opportunity to experiment with XGen, Arnold and the film workflow.

 

I’m happy to finally finish this project. It’s cool to see how it looks something that initially started as a regular blockout exercise.

 

SOFTWARE USED
Sculpted in Zbrush, optimized, unwrapped and rendered in Maya using Arnold. Textures were done in Substance Painter
